Service Description

Reiki, pronounced Ray-Key, is a Japanese word meaning Universal Life Force. This ancient healing modality has made its way to the Western world. Enjoyed by many as an effective method of managing stress, anxiety and physical pain. However, the power of Reiki is much greater. Known historically in the Christian world as "laying of hands", Reiki is a universal practice enjoyed by all, regardless of theological affiliation. Modern Medicine has also accepted Reiki as effective mode of healing with the addition of Reiki Masters in the operating rooms of Hospital such as John's Hopkins, Brigham Young, Yale, Harvard and Columbia medical centers, to name a few. What to expect during your in-person session: You will be welcomed in a relaxing environment, with soothing music, crystals and essential oils. Each session will be facilitated on a massage table. Unlike massage, this is a no contact form of therapy, where you stay fully clothed. We will position your body to make sure you are comfortable and then have you relax into a meditative space, usually with some breathing techniques. After your session you will be encouraged to drink plenty of water. What to expect during your virtual session: Distant Reiki is in every way just as potent as in person, as the flow of energy knows no bounds. After you schedule a virtual session, you will be emailed a private zoom link. We ask you find a quiet and comfortable spot for your session. Afterwards you will be encouraged to drink plenty of water. To schedule your private session, click the booking button below.
